1967 Ford Mustang Fastback - Vehicle Overview

The Ford Motor Company is the world's fifth largest automaker based on worldwide vehicle sales. Based in Dearborn, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit, the automaker was founded by Henry Ford, on June 16, 1903.

Ford went onto produce its first Mustang in 1964 and our Mustang was actually built in the Detroit base and originally started life late in 1967 on an American army base but was not used on public roads until 1969 hence the 1969 registration. She has a 4.7lt V8 289 engine but has been upgraded with performance heads resulting in approximately 300bhp. The wheels known as Nitrous Legend by Foose, a well-knownautomotive designer, were the 1st set of this particular design imported to the UK in 2009.

In addition to the stunning looks this Mustang Fastback has an extremely aggressive V8 growl and roar typical of the muscle car era making this Mustang Fastback stand out from the crowd. The exhaust was hand made by an expert exhaust builder who knew how to create the best sound from the V8 engine.

The Mustang Fastback is the most famous of all the classic Mustangsand history proves the Mustang is also a big movie star. Known as Eleanor in the 2000 movie Gone In 60 Seconds, famous in The Fast and the Furious 3: Tokyo Drift and probably the most iconic in the 1968 film Bullitt with Steve McQueen which was described as “not only the most definitive movie mustang, it’s the most definitive movie car chase”.

She can accommodate up to 3 passengers* and has been a firm favourite as a surprise booking for the Groom but is becoming more and more popular with the Bride. In our experience, the best surprise the Bride or Groom can get is this stunning Mustang turning up on their wedding day and they know nothing about it.

This surprise experience has worked best with us collaborating with other family members or friends of the Bride and/or Groom to ensure they individually can arrive to their wedding in style or depart their ceremony in their dream car. Why not tick your bucket list and have a ride in this iconic Mustang Fastback on your special day.

*It is worth noting with the Mustang, due to it being a Fastback the seating in the back is smaller than a normal saloon car. Whilst this has not been an issue it is a point to note for taller people to be aware of.
